See projectPortfolio Margining was a key initiative to modernize the margin rules relating to equities and options and to specifically address comparability concerns with margin on single stock futures as they had been authorized by the Commodity Futures Modernization Act. I was an active member of the Securities Industry Association (predecessor to Sifma) Portfolio Margin Committee and the NYSE and subsequently FINRA Portfolio Margin Committee.
